Claire Lakin-Koel
Claire Lakin-Koel joined Doré & Associates, Attorneys, P.C. in June 2010. Prior to joining the firm, she was an attorney with the Houston office of a large national firm. Claire has experience in insurance matters, complex litigation involving statutory and regulatory issues in the health law arena, and a variety of civil litigation matters. Her case related activity includes discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and court appearances.
Claire is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. She is a member of the Houston and Fort Bend Bar Associations, the Texas Young Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Texas. Claire is also a co-author of two articles published in the American Bar Association's Coverage Journal and the Insurance Coverage Law Bulletin. Claire earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and her undergraduate degree, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Trinity University.
